Biomedical waste disposal

The waste produced in the course of healthcare activities carries a higher potential for infection and injury than any other type of waste. Inadequate and inappropriate knowledge of handling of healthcare waste may have serious health consequences and a significant impact on the environment as well.
We at Castrol, always focus on the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees and contractors. We ensure that our activities do not cause any damage to the environment.

The biomedical waste generated at our plants is handed over to authorized agencies for disposal. As per rule 13(4) of The Bio-Medical Waste Management

Rules 2016 (as amended), please see the biomedical waste returns of all Castrol India plants as of December 2020.
