To celebrate this amazing achievement, we have filmed a documentary video that chronicles Irv’s journey and highlights how GTX extended the life of his 1966 Volvo P1800S.  In the first chapter, watch renowned BBC host Lee McKenzie as she interviews Irv in a New York City studio to discuss Irv’s historic voyage of nearly 50 years and learn how GTX has evolved after Irv’s first fill.  The second chapter of the documentary takes Irv to the University of Cambridge and our own technology center in Pangbourne, where Irv visits with industry experts and learns exactly how GTX has protected his critical engine parts that have been used for over 2 million miles – or 10 times the average vehicle life expectancy.

After watching the video, I’m sure you’ll agree that Irv and his vehicle are a live demonstration of the GTX brand proposition of “Helps Extend Engine Life.”  A proof point that no competitive brand can match!
