Recent testing proves how Castrol EDGE with Fluid TITANIUM transforms to be stronger under pressure and reduces performance-robbing friction to unlock the true performance of your engine.
TEST 1: TRANSFORMATON
Compressed under intense pressure, the oil was studied using x-rays emitted from electrons travelling at almost the speed of light.
This showed that Castrol EDGE with Fluid TITANIUM physically transforms its structure under pressure to keep metal apart. When the pressure subsides, the oil reverts to its free-flowing state.
TEST 2: STRENGTH
Using pioneering ultrasound techniques developed by a leading university, the stiffness of oil between contact points on the camshaft were compared.
Tests showed that Castrol EDGE with Fluid TITANIUM was stiffer at the point of contact, when compared to the same oil without Fluid TITANIUM – proving the oil is stronger under pressure.
TEST 3: REDUCED FRICTION
Using an industry-recognised test, friction levels were measured across a range of speeds and engine conditions. Castrol EDGE with Fluid TITANIUM was shown to reduce performance-robbing friction.
