In 2012, Castrol Industrial North America allocated funds for every employee to donate to their charity of choice. This initiative is the perfect combination of personal, employee involvement and strong, corporate backing. We are very pleased that it has culminated in charitable giving to large, worldwide organizations as well as small, grassroots community organizations.
Castrol Industrial’s National Sales Conference attendees spend time giving back to the community in which the conference is held. Over the course of the conference, the 100+ attendees typically provide over 500 hours of hands-on service to agreed organizations.
By giving employees the opportunity to donate to the charity or individual of their choice, Castrol’s family helps Make A Difference in the world each year. For example, employee Alexandra Coello presented her donation from Castrol Industrial to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network when she participated in a 5k walk in Washington, DC.
